Activities at Adare Manor

Adare Manor offers a wide range of estate activities, from championship golf and outdoor pursuits to wellness experiences, indoor leisure, and cultural exploration. Guests can tailor their stay to be as active or as relaxed as they wish. In addition to experiences on the estate, there are also many wonderful activities available nearby. Our Concierge team would be delighted to recommend and arrange off-site experiences such as horse riding, local excursions, and other regional activities, helping guests explore the surrounding area during their stay.

Our estate offers a variety of family-friendly experiences designed for younger guests, alongside activities that families can enjoy together. Our team can recommend age-appropriate options and help plan a balanced itinerary.

Guests can step back in time through our self-guided architecture and garden audio tour of the Manor House. These immersive guides trace the history of Adare Manor, telling the story of the Earls of Dunraven and the generations who lived here, as well as the remarkable 30-year process of building the Manor House. Guests can also enjoy our History of Adare Manor film, shown in our private cinema, which brings the estate’s rich past to life through captivating storytelling and visuals. Dedicated versions of the audio tour are available for both adults and children aged 6–12, offering a captivating journey through the estate’s heritage.

Outdoor pursuits include golf, cycling, falconry, fishing, archery, axe throwing, gundogs, clay pigeon shooting, horse and carriage tour and estate walks, along with a range of seasonal and nature-based experiences. Activities take place across the estate’s parkland, woodland, and river surroundings.

Guests can enjoy wellness experiences at the Spa, alongside fitness and leisure facilities at The Padel Club, which include swimming, gym and studio, and padel courts. Combined with relaxed estate walks, these options are ideal for restoration, light recreation, and gentle activity.

Most estate activities are reserved for guests staying at Adare Manor. Availability for non-resident visitors may vary depending on the activity and the season.
