The Carriage House Bar is the bustling social heart of the hotel from afternoon to night.
The bar is a wonderful gathering place where guests can enjoy light bites, bar snacks and a remarkable collection of fine wines, craft beers, and sophisticated cocktails. The atmosphere is smart, lively, and relaxed.
The design of The Carriage House Bar is a perfect union of traditional Irish culture and elevated contemporary styling. Rich leather and dark-stained oak furnishings with touches of brass, bronze and pewter offer a sense of timeless luxury. Low lighting in warm tones creates an inviting and intimate environment at any time of day. Bespoke chairs, banquettes and barstools are arranged through the space to encourage mingling, with welcoming nooks for conversation. Guests can also enjoy a quiet drink by the fireside, framed by a magnificent firelance of Breccia Capraia marble. The panels in the left wall can be opened up to create sight-lines through to the lounge, allowing a sense of spaciousness and comfort at even the busiest times.
The dress code is smart casual. Long trousers are required for gentlemen, smart jeans and trainers are permitted. We do request that all guests refrain from wearing sportswear, baseball caps and flip flops.
As an exception for those golfing with us, smart golf attire is permitted; including smart golf tops, tailored shorts to the knee, and clean golf shoes.
No one under the age of 18 is permitted in The Carriage House Bar.
