We are delighted to welcome Conor Shaw as the new Director of Rooms at Adare Manor where he is responsible for Front of House Operations, Housekeeping, Laundry and The Spa.
Conor joins Adare Manor from The Merrion hotel where he was most recently Hotel Manager. Conor’s love of the Hospitality Industry stems from a great enjoyment in helping others, both guests and colleagues alike, which is a focus he is delighted to continue in his position at Adare Manor where he will be integral in leading front and back of house teams in providing a Beyond Everything service for our guests.

Our 840 acre estate provides a fabulously peaceful environment for our honeybees to work their magic and throughout spring, summer, and autumn, the bees roam the resort foraging for nectar and gathering pollen on their back legs. The nectar and pollen they bring back to the hive provides the delicious honey that is served with breakfast in The Gallery and is also incorporated into the pralines and chocolate creations that have hypnotised our guests over the years.

After seven incredible years leading and representing Adare Manor on the world stage, our CEO Colm Hannon announced his retirement at the end of last month.
Having held the position of CEO at Adare Manor since 2015, Colm has overseen many exciting moments in our story including Adare Manor’s 21-month restoration, refurbishment and expansion project in 2016, the hotel’s reopening in 2017, the golf course launch and Virtuoso Hotel of the Year award win in 2018, the announcement of the Ryder Cup coming to Adare Manor in 2019, the opening of our activity centre the Padel Club in 2020, among so many other highlights.
Colm’s remarkable leadership and passion has been an inspiration to all his team, and we extend many thanks to him for his significant contribution in making Adare Manor the world-class hotel and golf resort that we enjoy today.
