The very name of Adare Manor is intimately connected with the magic of trees. The Irish translation of ‘Adare’ is ‘Áth Dara’, which means the ford of the Oak Tree. The beauty of our estate is brought to life by the thousands of trees, some centuries old, from towering conifers to tiny birches.
Our team has planted 1,000 trees in the Adare Manor estate as part of National Tree Week. The planting of Willow, Alder, Birch and Oak trees is part of our efforts to increase biodiversity by extending and developing new woodland margins across the estate.

Our partnership with the Midleton Distillery continues with a particularly special single pot still whiskey, aged for 25 years in a virgin American oak barrel laid down by previous Master Distiller Barry Crockett on April 25th, 1996.
This marks our fourth whiskey partnership with Midleton Very Rare, a relationship which was established over six years ago where the rarest whiskies at the Midleton Distillery are hand-picked and bottled exclusively for Adare Manor.
