Our falconry displays take place in the formal gardens at the front of the Manor House.
The free flying demonstrations are action-packed and involve high-flying, fast-moving raptors with commentary, which gives an insight into the innate skill and power of these majestic and magnificent creatures. The static displays consists of Hawks, Falcons and Owls, giving you the opportunity to see birds of prey at close quarters and to learn more about their lifestyles. Falconry displays, either flying or static, can be tailor made, and will always be a thrilling and very memorable addition to any event.
Hawk Walk
Hands-On Experience.
Designed for people with an interest in falconry but without the time needed to take it up themselves – this activity is sufficient for guests to get a basic insight into falconry and to gain the exciting experience of handling and flying a trained hawk.
We start of with a brief history of Falconry then introduce you to our beautiful birds and give you the opportunity to get some hands on experience - flying your own hawk in the woodlands and grounds of the Manor Estate.
Don't forget to bring your camera! There are lots of incredible photo opportunities.
Duration 90 minutes
€145.00 for one participant
€110.00 per person for two participants
€95.00 per person for three participants
€80.00 per person for four participants
€70.00 per person for five participants
For larger groups €350.00 for the first five participants plus €35.00 per person thereafter.
The above prices apply to both the Falconry or Hawk Walk.
Both of these activities are weather permitting.
12 hours cancellation notice is required prior to reserve time. A charge of 50% of the full payment shall be added to your bill for cancellation within 12 hours of the activity start time.
