Falconry
Our falconry displays take place in the formal gardens at the front of the Manor House. The free flying demonstrations are action packed and involve high-flying, fast-moving raptors with commentary, which gives an insight into the innate skill and power of these majestic and magnificent creatures. The static displays consists of Hawks, Falcons and Owls, giving you the opportunity to see birds of prey at close quarters and to learn more about their lifestyles. Falconry displays, either flying or static, can be tailor made, and will always be a thrilling and very memorable addition to any event be it a show, fair, medieval day, wedding parties, or an exhibition.

Hawk Walk
This activity is designed for people with an interest in the sport but without the time needed to take up falconry themselves. It is sufficient to give the guest a basic insight into falconry and to gain the experience of handling and flying a trained hawk.
We start of with a brief history of Falconry then introduce you to our birds and give you the opportunity to get some hands on experience then proceed to fly your own hawk in the woodland of Adare Manor Hotel & Golf Resort. Don't forget to bring your camera as there are lots of photo opportunities.

48 hours cancellation notice is required prior to reserve time or full price will be charged. Both of these activities are weather permitting.
