Afternoon Tea, an English tradition dreamt up by the Duchess of Bedford in the 19th Century was a favourite occasion of the Dunraven Household. Originally designed as a refreshment between what was then called “luncheon” and “dinner”, it consisted of delicate cakes and light sandwiches served with piping hot (usually Darjeeling) tea.
Afternoon Tea is also marvellous with a glass of bubbly or chocolate and marshmallows for the children.
Served in The Manor House every day from 2.00pm – 5.00pm
