You can experience a day of magic hidden behind the tall granite walls of the old estate gardens. Historically these gardens produced fruit, vegetables and herbs for the household. Even today apple, pear and fig trees are laden with fruit each autumn.
As you pass through the arched gateway, down an aisle of torchlight to the fairy tale pavilions beyond, you will feel that the everyday world has been left far behind for a while. Here in the seclusion of these spacious gardens, you are free to exercise your own creativity. Whether you choose the dusky seduction of 1001 Arabian Nights, a Marie Antoinette picnic or a Midsummer Night’s Dream, the gardens offer a stage for your fantasies.
With two walled gardens, you can accommodate an extensive guest list and can organise a varied flow of movement for your day. Cocktails, dining, dancing and entertainment can all be arranged with freedom and flexibility, as and how you wish. Although the Manor House is close by with all its facilities, your celebrations will be secluded, private and unique.
There is a charge for the use of the walled gardens. Marquee hire, catering and all other provisions are taken care of by the bride and groom.
